Handsome Fonua Boys

David got put in as the Young Men's President in our ward, so he had to talk last week in church.  He did such a good job!  Before we went to church I took a few pictures of my handsome men!  They both looked so good!  I love them both so much! They are my whole world!

Cousins

Last week we went back to Utah and got to spend a few days with our family.  Roman loves playing with all his cousins!  He can make his cousin Boston laugh at him so hard, it is so dang cute.  I have a feeling he is going to teach him a lot of crazy things, (sorry Desi and Jess!)  He loves to play with him and make him laugh.

When we were over at Grandma Wendy's house he got introduced to water balloons.  Aunt Tiffany threw one at him and he was a little mad and cried at first.  But then he found out how fun it was to throw them back and he was hooked.  Then after the water balloons his two older cousins Mason and Mele found some water guns.  Instead of a water gun Roman just went straight to the hose and was spraying everyone!

All that playing with cousins sure does wear you out!

Oh and one more picture. I looked back in the car while David, Roman and I were heading to a baseball game of our friends and saw this.  We are totally ready for summer to be here!

Chocolate Cookies

Roman loves to make cookies and his favorite are chocolate!  One evening he wanted to make them all by himself.
Mixing the ingredients

Scoopin' them

Waiting for them to cool off (hardest part according to Roman)

Smiling because they are so good
Everyday since he has asked to make them. Wish we could they are so delish!

Hawaii

We had the amazing opportunity to stay at David's boss's beach house in Hawaii for 2 weeks.  It was so beautiful there!  We had so much fun together. We did a lot of fun things, but our favorite thing was that we got to be together for it all!

The front of the beach house

The view off the back porch!

The bay is the back yard for the house.  This bay is right next to Turtle Bay and it is called Kawela Bay.  There were so many turtles to see and it was so pretty there!

His boss had all of these things in the basement of the house so of course we had to try them all out in the bay.

David and Roman

Roman's favorite part was the boogie board.  David would hold it and when a wave would come he would let him ride it in.  David set him up on a pretty big wave and the nose of the board went under and so did Roman.  He was not happy but he had a good story to tell.  He tells it like this:  First I was on the board, Second I was under the water, and Third Mommy grabbed me out of the water!

All of us swimming in the bay

One morning we went walking on the bay and found this turtle

On Sunday we went to the swap meet and Aloha Stadium.  It was good for a little bit and then we all got hot, so the best way to cool off was a rainbow snow cone!

Roman posing at Shark's Cove

This whole pregnancy I have been craving watermelon so bad!  And i finally got one, we stopped at a litte fruit stand on the side of the road. The lady gave Roman this baby banana and apple, he was pretty proud!

Everything in Hawaii is so beautiful but as soon as we got out of the car at the Laie LDS Temple grounds it was like paradise! The feeling of peace and beauty is amazing there! This was one of my favorite parts!

We told Roman that we had to be reverent here, and it was so cute he folded his arms and did very good!

One day we went to the Dole pineapple plantation.  We rode the train, Roman had made friends with the ladies driving it and they let him say all aboard over the microphone.  He thought it was pretty special.

We went to Shark's Cove and had a picnic and snorkeled.

On Wednesday we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and spent the day.  We went to the luau and show and it was fun.  The show was really good and I loved the fire dancing part!

Yes I know I look huge!

One of our favorite parts was going to Sunset Beach and watching the sunset.  It was so beautiful!

We had the most amazing time and are so glad we got to have this amazing vacation as a family!  We made tons of memories we will never forget!
